Athletes have trained hard and are
encouraged to race as often as possible.
Club vests should be worn and are easily
purchased from the club shop on club nights

The
Junior section of
Rossendale Harriers
meet
and train at Marl Pits Sports Centre on
Newchurch
Road in Rawtenstall on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings at 7.00pm year round.We welcome
children aged 6+of all athletic abilities
to an environment where the emphasis is
placed on safety,fun,team work and sporting
ethics.

accreditation in recognition that it has
achived core and common criteria in terms

All of our
Junior Coaches are qualified to a minimum
of Level 1 coaching qualification. We require
that all coaches are CRB checked and undertake
a minimum standard of training in First
Aid,Child Protection and Health and Safety.

Junior Coach Profiles
Our
Junior coaches put a lot of their own time
in coaching the Juniors and they also spend
a lot of their own time getting the qualifications
needed .They have to give up their weekends
to take the courses required by the club
and the various governing bodies and the
club owe them all a great deal of thanks.Of
course its a labour of love and they all
enjoy what they do and the results and attendances
on club nights speak for themselves.
Coaching and coaching qualification
is an ongoing thing whereby the club is
constantly seeking to encourage members
to further their coaching experience and
qualification.
